 The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a popular tourist monument in Kanyakumari , India. The memorial stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters (1,600 ft) east of the mainland of Vavathurai. It was built in 1970 in honor of Swami Vivekananda who is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock. The atmosphere is so refreshing with see breeze and totally beautiful memorial. Vivekananda Rock Memorial is located in an ideal unique place where the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal is meeting.  You seen  bay of Bengal sea water is brown colour and Indian ocean water is blue color.  It is an Island and one needs to take a ferry to reach there.  The tickets for the ferry are Rs. 50/- and Rs. 200/- naturally understood the the Rs. 50/- ticket had a long queue.  The ferry ride is hardly 10 minutes sail. The ferry service runs from 8am to 4pm The tradition of penance was to be continued by young men and women coming as Karyakartas of Vivekananda Kendra to spread the following

  Tirparappu Waterfalls are located in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu state, India. The Kodayar River makes its descent at Thiruparappu. The waterfall at this place is about 13 kilometers from Pechiparai Dam. It is just a 15 min drive from the waterfalls. Easily reachable from NH66. The river bed is rocky and about 300 feet in length. It's a nice and safe fall to spend our time with friends and family. Better to go early to enjoy more & to avoid the crowd in the afternoon. Nice place to visit a must go in the monsoon season. Too Crowded as it was a weekend. Transportation facilities are available. Walking distance is minimum. For children, there is a swimming pool. Parking available. Small paid swimming pool for kids is there. Dressing room available for ladies. Soap, shampoo, & oil bath are restricted there but even people using it. Well maintained and police production also there. Also, boating is there nearby falls. It is an Awesome evergreen natural waterfall.

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Mandapam is a nice place to watch. lt is in the seashore. The specialty of the Memorial is that it has been arranged in such fashion that sunlight enters and falls on the urn containing ash of Mahatma Gandhi, on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi OCTOBER 2 of every year. It is an architectural marvel that allows sunlight to enter the memorial particularly on that day only. Do visit to enjoy Memorial as well as Seashore. The sea namely bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean mingle here in Cape Comorin making it unique.

 The Thanumalayan Temple, also called Sthanumalayan Temple is an important Hindu temple located in Suchindram in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu , India. The Thanumalayan Temple is of importance to both Shaivaite and Vaishnavite sects of Hinduism, as the name Stanumalaya denotes Trimurtis; "Stanu" means Siva; "Mal" means Vishnu; and the "Ayan" means Brahma A peaceful Thanumalayan Temple and a historical place which hides many secrets and so many unique stories and history associated with it. Every Tiny thing has something special in it. If possible hire a guide for temple visit as you can enjoy the history and importance of each carving. Lord Siva, Vishnu, and Brahma are seen in this place as one. The Anjaneyar with folded hands opposite to Rama and Sita is very famous worldwide.  Anjaneya, (or Hanuman), the statue which stands at 22 feet (6.7 m) and is carved of a single granite block. It is one of the tallest statues of its type in India. The

 The Thiruvalluvar Statue, or the Valluvar Statue, is a 133-feet tall stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar, author of the Tirukkural, an ancient Tamil work on secular ethics and morality. thw staue is Kanyakumari. Thiruvalluvar, commonly known as Valluvar, was a celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher. Thiruvalluvar is a greatest poet and philosopher of Tamil language. Statue size is 133ft tall as a symbolical representation of the 133 chapters of this famous work Thirukkural.  During the weekends and holiday season queue for the ferry ticket is long and one might need to wait for hours. There is also an option for special ticket to avoid the queue. The magnificent statue is lit at night and one can see the beautiful view from the coast itself.   Pechiparai Reservoir is a reservoir located 43 kilometers from the town of Nagercoil, near the village of Pechiparai in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India.  It was built during the period 1897 - 1906 by the European engineer, Mr. Minchin,(called as mookanthurai by the local people) during the reign of the Travancore Maharaja Moolam Thirunal. There are no tickets in Pechiparai dam. From the parking lot you just have to climb a few steps to reach the dam. Can take a local boat and explore the reservoir. There is a little garden there and at the dam in the evening, the atmosphere is photogenic literally don't go in the afternoon. It as one of the biggest dams in South India. Standing at the top of the Dam and looking at the reservoir gives a beautiful view. Wonderful place for people's who love nature excellent place for photographers. The Chitharal Jain Monuments; also known as Chitharal Malai Kovil, Chitharal Cave Temple or Bhagwati Temple, Chitral; is situated on the Thiruchanattu Malai near Chitharal village, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. Chitharal hills are locally known as Chokkanthoongi Hills There are two monuments. The earlier rock-cut Jain structure of beads with inscriptions and drip-ledges is the earliest Jain monument in the southernmost part of India which was from first century BC to sixth century AD The monuments are reached by roughly hewn steps in rocks and the narrow entrance between them. On the top of the hill, there in a cave temple with mandapa, a varandah corridor and a balipeetham with a kitchen (madappalli) which is carved into a natural overhanging rock facing the west. It has three sanctums which house the Tirthankara (possibly Mahavira) in middle, the goddess in the right and Parshwanatha on the left.  There is another temple-like structure (Vimana) on the top of the hill
