The specialty of the Memorial is that it has been arranged in such fashion that sunlight enters and falls on the urn containing ash of Mahatma Gandhi, on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi OCTOBER 2 of every year. It is an architectural marvel that allows sunlight to enter the memorial particularly on that day only. Do visit to enjoy Memorial as well as Seashore. The sea namely bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean mingle here in Cape Comorin making it unique.
